China Part 2

I think I'll round up China now...

The next day was free again (no concerts). We went to some huge square (Tiananmen Square I think). Its just like a huge empty space with a tower somewhere in the centre, and things like "The Forbidden City" in the background to take pictures with. Lots of chinese folk selling everyone cheap "rolex" and fans. We took a huge group photo, and then went inside the Forbidden city. It is literally a city... and it was also baking hot... After just generally walking around looking at things, there were a few shops then that was it... We had lunch ... somewhere? I can't remember where -_-; Then we went to the market ^_^. At the market we (we = 6th formers) spent most of the time on the 1st floor. Mark managed to get a couple of coats, Deborah was busy bargaining with the salespeople, lots of sales people mistaking Alvin for someone who was chinese too. After a while, when we realised time was running out me and Alvin went to the top floor. Got a couple of games, we also managed to snag a chess set from high numbers to 110 Yuan (sp?). This was after we were told that we were "trying to kill" the sales people XD with our ridiculously low prices (15 Yuan) ^_^.

- Jon (24/4/07) : I might as well post what I wrote about China, when I was doing this post. Never got round to finishing it! Nevermind. Won't be doing much on this blog anymore, if ever. Ah wells.
8월 15일

Past week+ or so! Laziness shines through!

Well... where to begin? To be honest I can't even remember what I've been doing. Sometime since my last post I've done the following in no particular order! Saw Miami Vice... not the best of films... not the "ok" of films either =|. Had that KFC meal thing on that day too, quite nice... quite filling :O! Went to the west end... actually managed to snag the sofa seat in the games section in Virgin Megastores o_o! Normally its taken! I guess no one really wants to play Toca . . . don't blame them. Played CVS2 round Marks' house recently, starting to get use to the D-Pad of the PS2! SNK characters especially Kyo, HUGELY underpowered. Also the flashing bar for S-Groove or EXTRA mode is nowhere near big enough to use cheap tactics! On the subject of games... I've completed a couple lately. Baten Kaitos on the GC, 46 hours? Last boss was very easy o_o... I think it took like 3 turns... kind of ... disappointing? Also completed We <3 Katamari on the PS2, really good game! Pity it is so short, but I guess rollling things up can only be taken so far... Playing a bit of Psychonauts, which runs jerky on my new graphics card -_-; Umm.. can't think of anything else at the moment, completing those games have probably been the most productive things I've done =|... ooh hit the 100 wins mark for Solitaire Showdown lol. Things to do... get my results on Thursday? Maybe learn some C++... do some OpenGL stuff? Hah if I ever bother. -_-
8월 2일

Today... and recentness.

Went shopping today, in Galleon's Reach. Got quite a bit of stuff so I'm pleased ^^. Bought some new trainers and also some trousers! Had the McDonald's summer deal special thing - had the Quarter Pounder version, and had a bit of my mum's Chicken Burger version. Both are all right... Saw Jermaine F working there too! Seems like most of the shops have huge closing sales in Galleon's Reach...

Recently my graphics card has been playing up. Tried changing it to my brother's old one, but his Geforce 4 Ti 4400 is even more broken than my Radeon 9000 Pro... Found out that my card's fan isn't working, which could be why it switches itself off all the time! Tried using my brother's card's fan on my card but that didn't work =|. I think its working now... just about. Might have to fork out £30 for a new graphics card though =(, wish mine would just work! If I was to buy a graphics card I would've bought the best of the best... (I think XD), but my motherboard wouldn't even accomodate it, so I have to buy a lame one -_-;

With not much to do this holiday, the idea of playing World of Warcraft for a month or so does seem tempting. . . Although after watching Haruhi I wouldn't mind playing Day of Sagittarius 3!

Met up with Jon P recently, got beaten in pool =|. Managed to pot the black in quite a few times o_o. Also met with Jason only to litter his scoreboard on Mario Kart with my name. Apparently he's wiped it off now o_o! I've been playing Baten Kaitos recently, taking a break from Shin Megami (or Megaten). Baten Kaitos' control system is really good ^_^, must say it is a really good game, although for some reason I think I might complete it by this weekend o_o! Then maybe go back to Kingdom Hearts and Shin Megami...

Also been watching the new Honey and Clover. All very serious now o_o. Finished Eureka 7, which was all right, not enough battles though in my opinion. I'll try to finish the China post... sometime >_<! That's it for now! Weird new MSN Spaces look o_O

Baking Summer...

Last few days have been baking hot. Some nights I just couldn't sleep! Tonight... no idea why I can't sleep... just can't. Fan in the room works... sometimes. >_>

I broke something recently. Something that was really good. The hands of the Kyo and Iori models I recently bought. If only glue was easy to put on to these kind of things, and they dried faster too. If only it didn't break in the first place -_-; Now they sit in front of me all day... reminding me that they are broken. -_-;

I've beat something recently. Something that was really hard. The mini-game in Battle Network 5 I recently bought. If only all games were as hard as this, and good as it too. If only all games shared that same "Capcom quality" in the first place. Then I wouldn't have things like OMF Battlegrounds. -_-;

Haven't done anything productive lately (read things above). After being unsuccessful to get a job via the Brokerage scheme... just haven't accomplished much. Short run through of the week... monday rehearsal. That was quite good. Tuesday cello lesson, last one ever! Wednesday, St.Angela's liturgy, last one ever (for me). Thursday leaver's concert... worst run through of the music that I've ever played... slipped up so many times on so many places that ... I just shouldn't have slipped up on. Lots of my friends played that day as well... and they played really well, congrats all! Friday met up with Jason whom I haven't seen/spoken to in ages. Saturday... progressed in Shin Megami Tensei? Sunday... looked after main mass... boiling on the Altar. Monday morning.. unable to sleep -_-; ...

Recent Happenings

I'll take a break from the China post... to be honest I still haven't got the energy to write about it. Its been a week now since I've been back, and I haven't really done much. Monday... I slept till 3ish >_<! so I managed to rack up about 13 or 14 hours of sleep in one run, no interruptions! That day I didn't do much, just sorting out what I brought back. Some of the stuff I bought broke =|, ah wells... superglue goes a long way I hope >_<;;

Tuesday, I just had a cello lesson. I was given new music in my lesson that day for the concert this week. Having to learn the new piece in a week so I can play well... is just ugh -_-; Wednesday I went to school to help out with Nithya's cake sale thing for her trip to Kenya. I was also mislead to believe Jason would turn up ¬_¬ but he was painting his bathroom or something o_O

Thursday... and Friday... my mind seems blank about those two days. Although I think I sorted out bank stuff on Thursday >_<! My CV got sent off for another post at some bank, but I haven't heard anything so I'm guessing mine CV wasn't really noticed =(.

Saturday was the last academy saturday's my year group will all be there. I think I am going to be playing that concerto thing for Senior Strings in a future concert. . . Today was normal. Had morning mass, not as many servers feeling ill, but I had a lot turn up today which is all good. Got 11:30 mass next week which means I get more sleep ^_^.

Lately I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei 3... getting further in that, with my uber strong character =D. Also been going through Battle Network 5: Team Colonel. Also watched "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzuyima", great show ^_^, has a good ending to the series too. Also started the 2nd series of Honey and Clover... the intro isn't as good! The series feels like it lacks something... or maybe its just "more of before" and nothing too new which is getting to me *shrugs*, I'll still watch it though.

Whew! Just got a phonecall! I might be playing in " Delia Spiers' " EP Launch! Next week Wednesday... playing live in Camden :O!!! >_<! But I have to see the music first... apparently very easy >_<! hope it is >_<!, she's a great singer too I heard her stuff on MySpace http://www.myspace.com/deliaspiers . I just hope I don't mess up... -_-;

China part 1

Whew... just came back from China. Well last night. It was a fun trip, lots of stuff to do, eat and buy!

I guess I'll start right at the beginning. The coach trip to Heathrow was just sleeping, with Leavers' the night before, there wasn't enough energy to do anything else. We got to terminal 1-3, and had to wait for ages to put the luggage in. Whilst waiting, we just chatted and I also saw the video of Chris stumbling around after getting out of his limo, which was pretty entertaining.

Finally we managed to get our luggage into the check-in thing. Went to duty-free zone, and ate breakfast with Alvin and Deborah. Soon the time for our flight arrived, so we ate the toasted sandwiches uber quickly and ended up waiting again =\ because our flight was delayed -_-;. We then went to just mill around for a while, before getting on the plane. The first flight was to Paris, and from there we had to hurry straight to the next flight to China (because the first flight was delayed). 2nd flight I was sat next to Deborah, who was next to Antonia. We occupied the middle row. Both of them slept for most of the trip leaving me awake to play "Who wants to be a millionaire" and do pretty much nothing. When I woke them up to eat lunch, neither of them ate much either >_<, except for Antonia's "want" of cheese. So I ate their food. . . apparently a woman nearby saw that my plate had several bowls piled on top of one another, and she gave me the dirtiest look o_o. After the meal I went to sleep too... woke up, walked around the plane a bit. The flight soon ended, and we were in China!

In the airport, we had to go through the usual passport bits, although they decided to label those with no chinese passport as "FOREIGNERS". After all the ID checks, we went to get our luggage. . . or so we thought. A few of us (the sixth formers and a few teachers) had their luggage left in France because the first plane was delayed -_-; They gave a small free washbag... but that's about it -_-;. Downcast we headed off to the coach to get to the hotel. Got to the hotel... hung around not doing much. We got fed a huge chinese meal! We couldn't finish it =\ but it was really nice. We went shopping on the first day, to department stores etc. Bought a few t-shirts, there were some pretty good deals there, but we didn't get a lot of time to look around =(. Went back to the hotel, and had dinner. Again a huge meal, we managed to finish a lot of our food, including the dish of watermelons =). I got my temporary cello, and tried it out. It was so crap -_-;, it sounded like I was playing a tin can that was just screaming for its life o_o. That night me and Alvin played a bit of chess, watched some chinese television - so many channels! Pity we could only understand one -_-;;. This ends part 1 of china... I've missed out a lot of stuff, and probably not all that accurate either but hey o_o.

To be continued...
6월 22일

Tis' over ^_^

Well... weekend that has just gone past. Alvin didn't bother come to academy ¬_¬, so we didn't have any rehearsal for China. Saturday was full of Computing revision. Sunday came, had mass. Found out that this Sunday's mass will be recorded -_-;; uhoh. Sunday was full of (much needed) further maths revision. Monday came, and I had further maths in the morning  . . .

Definately the worst paper I've sat! Had a lot of noise from the outside (exam in angelas). And I couldn't get a proof question so I KNOW I got it wrong ;_;. Anyway, came home and revised (or tried to!) for computing. Computing was on tuesday morning, that was... not too bad? The assembly language wasn't too bad... I think. After that exam, I went home practiced cello, and then revised for Physics. Wednesday was just me struggling to revise ¬_¬.

Today. This morning I went in early to revise Physics with Jon. We ended up going to our normal classroom, switching some music on and revising using books and Exampro. Jason came in later and we ended up talking >_>. Got lunch ate and headed off to bons. There everyone else was revising etc. (except Rvie of course!)

Exam went all right! Hope so. Passage question was definately tricky compared to the other questions. Anyhow headed off home, then played in a concert just now! Didn't go too well for me -_- ... Alvin went, umm and Deborah, Melody, Barry and others played. Someone's bike got stolen too -_-;

Anyway tomorrow begins my freedom =). \o/ Have a stack of games to complete.
6월 15일

Three more now!

Just had the Physics exam this morning. It seemed quite long, well longer than I expected. Haven't really done much lately, work here and there. Got a concert lined up, the day my exams finish... so that should be interesting o_o. I think i'll do some Computing later, lots of Assembly Language to tackle -_-; Then there's also Physics Synoptic and the other Further Maths module... might play some cello or just sleep. Its been the first time i've been up at 8am for ages! Felt so weird to even be awake *rubs eyes*
6월 10일

Modules ahh!

Well... since M2 I haven't really accomplished much. That's really bad too. I have to learn CPT4, PHY5, PHY6 and FP1 NOW.

Just glancing through my CPT 4 stuffs. Assembly Code? Object and class definitions? uhoh. By tonight I need to finish reading through the CPT 4 section of my textbook. 11 more chapters to go? ><; Prolog to learn too... ack. And that's just CPT4! What about the other modules o_o;

Past few days I racked up 5 hours in Shin Megami Tensei III. A good RPG with a nice linear storyline =). Also been practicing my cello a lot o_o. Concert coming up soon, and the piece I'm playing is so uberly hard ><! Anyway must go back to studying otherwise... ><!
6월 7일

2 More down! 4 to go.

Yesterday afternoon, I had my first actual written exam, and as luck would have it I had two at once. M1 took ages to set up -_-; (lol and as usual Mark walks in just as the lady says, "We're about to start the exam"). I'd been studying mainly for M2 over the past few days, doing papers A-F, and making the usual "common mistakes" list I have with me for my exams. M1 was ok I think, but M2 was definately tricky. Also there were screams outside (tell tale signs that exam was taken in St. Angela's), which didn't help my concentration =|

Between M1 and M2, we had to wait for a GCSE Graphics exam to finish . . . and we weren't allowed to talk to anyone else outside =\, so we sat in the hall for quite a while just doing nothing really =|. M2 started around 3:30 o_o, and finished at 5. So t'was a very late finish -_-; We were being offered free bananas too o_O. . . although I doubt they would've helped in that M2 exam.

Next exam for me is on the 15th! Soo I have quite a while to study, but the the next few exams come in bulk =|, so I'd better get set on learning that CPT4 >_

Enough about music ^^. I've still been playing Guitar Hero XD, and finally managed to nail the hardest songs on Expert, Cowboys from Hell and Bark on the Moon. I was quite proud of myself on Sunday when I did that *smiles smugly*, so if you're uberly bored check this link out!

http://www.youtube.com/results?search=bark+at+the+moon+expert+guitar+hero&search_type=search_videos&search=Search

Choose a Bark on the Moon expert video and watch it o_o! Then buy Guitar Hero and play it! (Then give me the guitar). There's also another game for the SonyBox we have, its like Pokemon, but with demons. (I'll admit thats quite a difference). And you can fuse them etc. I've watched my brother play it, and it seems fun to play. . . but must resist >_

Talking about Halo XD. I don't think my pc has a chance of running Halo 2 =(, unless I utilise this >

5월 31일

Mid - Half term

Well school's finished now... no more lessons and all that jazz. For the last lesson of Physics (Wednesday), only half of us turned up. Asad left early, William and Rvie were both nowhere to be seen, no surprise there about Rvie . . . We ended up doing practically nothing, I didn't even write anything down or do any questions =|! We just ended up talking XD, good lesson ^^. Ms Morgan also gave us cakes she bought for us to eat, and she gave us each a card, and we left early.

Last lesson of Computing and Maths wasn't like that though. Well Maths (Thursday morning) was ... for me XD. Kouchak just said to me that they were doing C4 so I could do anything I wanted XD. Ended up doing the Sudoku on the back of the Sixth Form Newsletter with Jason. That lesson soon ended, and that was the last lesson of the day for a few of us, for the last day of school!

¬_¬ The next day we went in for Computing -_-; Took a CPT4 test, it just ended with Mensah saying how disappointed he was with the sheer number of blanks from people's test papers. After a lecture about working hard... Computing finished and finally we finished school. Half term then kicked in.

Saturday. Academy, usual really. Apart from going to choir ¬¬. Also got two new strings on my cello, meant to be uberly-good. Titanium and Nickel or something. . . Anyhow, went home in the rain >> bought a few things and was chatting to Deborah. Didn't do much at all o_o, Sunday was quite like Saturday too. Had to look after a First Holy Communion mass in the morning. . . which didn't all go amazingly smooth but got there in the end which was relieving. Came home to move things around as we were getting new carpet in the front room. My brother managed to get rid of our old sofas so now we sit on the floor XD, in anticipation of the new sofas . . . Monday, new carpet came and all our stuff moved back into that room. Again didn't really do much =( I remember searching around for a lot of UT stuff, which just doesn't want to work online ¬¬. Tuesday was Tanya's birthday celebration, we went to Wings to eat. Got through quite a few plates ^^; although Chris and James can both do the same ^^;. I think it was just a taster of food to come in China. Then we went to see X-Men 3 which was all right I guess. Not amazing but not a waste of time in my opinion. Although I just couldn't see them actually killing off anyone . . . ever. Apocalypse next maybe? Wonder how they'll do him o_o. Must go off now, hopefully do some work... maybe even learn some more Computing? ugh.

5월 21일

Tiring day

Just came back from church again. Today, I had to look after 10am mass and there was this filipino mass in the afternoon that I was asked to look after. There was lots of food and drink after the fili mass... but the place was too crowded so I left. Anyhow my first exam is soon - Physics practical. Haven't really done a proper practical exam in ages, so I'm finding it hard to get use to it all. Calculating errors and the like. I'm just hoping that if any electricity questions come up, its not too hard to do -_-; Also haven't done practical exams quickly enough ... so I'd better get faster at doing and understanding these experiments. I'd better get to studying -_-;
5월 19일

Update...!

Haven't updated in ages! But then again I haven't really done much ><; Just had a cold, sore throat etc -_-, and been generally tired. Recently I finally got my bank account! HSBC finally decided that the form that I filled out last time was actually the right one, so I had to fill it out again, after being told that I wasn't eligible to apply for a student account. So finally after bringing a horde of documentation with me, I finally set my bank account up on the fifth trip to the bank. Next Tuesday is the Physics practical exam, which probably will be very hard -_-; Really have to revise practical techniques and all that stuff. School will be finishing next week... although we have to come in for Computing because we'll only just about finish the syllabus. UT is still going strong. Although I think my connection is starting to lag now, with more players. Just today I managed to get a bundle of new mutators that should hopefully make it more interesting. Also I'm trying to use the editor, it seems ok most of the time, but weird how you have to make the actual level, cutting away from a "void". Well... going back to being bored =|
5월 4일

More tiredness -_-;

This past week or so has pretty much been all about Computing coursework. Heck I'm still not sure if i'm finished now! My 250 page monster of a coursework has grown to 300+ pages now, and my computer can no longer even handle the document, Microsoft Word just crashes on it =\. Computer is probably trying to tell me something ^^;.

During the coursework, I tried to fix some small part of Visual Basic, which then lead to the whole of my registry being really messed up and Windows unable to use the simplest of components, which meant I wasted a day reinstalling windows on top of the existing version to have some sort of barely-held-together version of windows for me to finish my coursework off.

Enough about coursework. . . I think now seems to be a good time to finally get into working mode, and do all of those past papers. Physics synoptic seems like "the killer" test, with its awkward questions -_-;. We haven't even finished learning CPT4 yet. . . -_-; We're doomed!

I've began to play UT again, online matches! First time i hosted a match, it
was with William and Nigel, which was really funny XD. For some weird reason I was invisible for the first match, but then I fixed that with a change of skin. Hopefully more people will be added =)

This week, although it has been full of computing, has also been fairly "not-at-school". Monday's bank holiday meant a longer weekend, but then an appointment of mine, meant that i was in school for the first time this week on Wednesday! That would explain why it still feels like the week's just
started for me . . . Today, Physics was cancelled because of the polling, speaking of which I didn't get a polling card so I couldn't vote anyway.

On Wednesday, I came into school to hand in my coursework. Then got told at registration that we had to record that day for GCSE music people... After having a fire drill in the middle of lunch, and one hour of Physics, had to rush home and rush back out. Headed off to Knightsbridge area, saw someone i knew on the train and had a small chat. Arrived at the American vice-ambassador's house for the USAP awards presentation evening, which was just about us milling around and receiving some certificates at the end of the evening, well made ones too with the seal/stamp on it and everything. Saw a few familiar faces which was nice, and had short conversations with a few random people too!

Anyhow must go back to do some M1. Looks like no UT tonight :(, well not for me anyhow -_-;

4월 29일

A long week

The first weekend from the new term, and already I'm tired -_-; Its been quite a long week. Monday had a Physics exam, tuesday was normal, wednesday another Physics exams. Although now on Wednesdays I can go in late, which makes it a nice lie-in day ^_^. There was also this quartet practice on Wednesday which the teacher just forgot to tell me about -_-;. Not that I'd be able to bring my cello in anyway . . .

Thursday... was a normal day, although afterwards I went back to HSBC in East Ham only to get told I can actually get an account ¬_¬. Also went to the West End. Friday, Computing was cancelled, so it was an easy morning. In maths, everyone else was doing a C4 test, so again another easy laidback lesson for me. Gave Jason his Gamecube, ah his face . . . classic ":O". Didn't have quartet so I lazed around in the evening.

Today, went to school and got my Computing coursework back. Lots of things to do to it -_-; I think I'll start it tomorrow. Then I went back to Oxford Street to help my brother carry home a Ps2 and a Guitar Hero box. o_o!

Guitar Hero is the "killer-app" for Ps2 . . . its rally fun to play the guitar =D. And the novelty of the controller makes the game even better! Lots of songs to play on it, about 50+. Anyhow time to do Physics!

4월 20일

Work kicks in. But today ¬_¬

Sunday was Easter. I had to look after the main mass that day, because Stephen was in Lourdes. Firstly the mass before ended really late, so I only had 15 minutes to prepare which is half the time for a normal mass. Saw Jeck at the mass which was quite o_o! During the mass the priest walked around blessing everyone with holy water, and I had to hold the bowl of water with him. By the time he'd blessed everyone, my alb had a huge splash on it -_-; After the mass, we had to give out Easter Eggs... the usual. Came home did work. This continued on till Tuesday.

Went to Physics for the day. I was the only year 13 to actually go . . . -_-; Ended up looking at various questions, I have so much to revise -_-; My brother got a new game - DJ Max, sort of like Beatmania, but probably harder. Managed to finish Testing finally, now the rest of the coursework -_-;

Today... Went to the bank this morning under the impression that I could open a Student Account, and get £50 for free! Either that or a free 512mb mp3 player, or 12 free CDs. Ended up waiting in the HSBC queue for about 1/2 an hour for nothing ¬_¬. Simply because my offer is conditional. Went home, called Cambridge about this miniature dilemma, because they wanted these loan forms from me. But couldn't get through -_-; Haven't done any more coursework either, because VB has a package and deployment error. When I tried to fix it, my whole computer messed up because of some registry issues. I had to spend the afternoon reinstalling Windows, and now its just about hanging together. Ugh.
4월 12일

USAP Meeting and stuff

Today, I had a USA-education meeting, haven't had one of those in a while! Saw many faces I haven't seen in ages, and its good to hear that many of them have been accepted in Universities they want to go to. The meeting did start late, with all the girls coming in late ¬_¬, but it soon got underway. There's a free trip I could go to in the summer, a 6-week all paid trip to America... in Philadelphia. I have to decide in a week whether or not I want to go. -_-; I'll decide later ^^;

Anyhow the meeting soon ended. Went out around Chinatown/Oxford Street area with Hua. Beat him in pool XD, with a lot of flukey shots XD, a nice cheap victory (he potted the white and black), and other small cheap ways to win =D.

Went to the GAME store on Oxford Street to play Guitar Hero, but some guy decided to play the same song again and again ¬_¬. Went to the Apple store, with its glass staircase o_o, and hordes of IPods. Also went to Hamleys, can't believe people get PAID to play Guitar Hero all day ¬_¬. Couldn't seem to persuade Hua to get Guitar Hero despite it being the "Killer-app" on the PS2... a must have! Although a tad pricey =|. The novelty of the guitar should last at least a couple of days =).

Bought my dinner, a few char siu buns, and then headed off home, completely forgetting to buy Sarsi -_-; Actually read some more Physics at home, although I really must start to do those booklet questions. Also have to start doing my Computing coursework... its really long arg!

Played some more Gashapon wars... earned a few more Gundams to fly around with. . . might go play that now ^^;
4월 11일

The beginning of work?

Holiday started last friday, and now I think the relaxing part of my holiday ends -_-; Haven't done all that much anyway ^^;

Been playing Gashapon wars and Oblivion. Earned a few more Gundams to fly around in ^^, and obtained more uber-powerful armour and weapons! Oblivion's fun-ness actually comes from its vast-ness... Its just fun to walk around the continent/country, and do nearly anything you want - within the limitations of course ^^;. I still have to try out the whole "become a vampire" business, it does sound quite funny, although I don't quite understand how rain hurts you o_O.

Just finished Gundam Zeta. I really must commend the series on its ability to kill off nearly the whole cast within an episode or two o_o. Spoilers ahead >_<; How can you kill off nearly everyone?! And how can you make the main character's memory go like that! It seemed like such a last ditch attempt to wreck the whole series, with so many characters getting picked off one by one. Anyhow I can't seem to find the follow up series -_-;

I have kicked off my work today ^_^. Started revising everything for Physics now, 62 whole pages of "Physics For You" read. Might do some module 1 questions later. Saw a hilarious looking DS game yesterday ^_^, go see the movie (click on the blatant "play" button) on http://www.success-corp.co.jp/software/ds/kanji/movie.html Pity about the whole thing that the game is in another language o_o.

Right. Must work -_-, after eating? ^^
4월 4일

Computin'

At the moment, my life is being sucked away by Oblivion o_o. With 16 square miles of exploring to do, ‘tis quite a lot to see ^^;. Firstly its miles better than its prequel – Morrowind. A battle system that is actually fun to play! The people and NPCs and stuff all fit in better, and it feels more world-like, which means more hours wasted away ^^;. Anyhow. In the past week, had a concert at Stratford town hall. Last concert I’ll do with academy . . . unless I take up on the offer of doing a concerto with Ms. Warren’s orchestra. Something tells me though I should just leave academy in the summer and leave it at that. Have a few things to do before Easter holiday comes. Need to get some forms filled out to do with University. I’ve been rejected from most of the American Universities I’ve applied to – MIT, Caltech and Chicago (on the waiting list), and I’ve been accepted into the University of Richmond, but have to pay $40,000 per year for it o_o. I’ve done my UK choices, and I’ve chosen Cambridge as my first choice, and Imperial as my back up. That also means that if I get a B in Physics I won’t be going to University =|. For Cambridge I have these forms to fill in -_-; something about ID and all that, then there’s also this scholarship thing I’m applying to... When I actually get to Easter, mainly revision (or learning) -_-; to do. Also quite a few people to meet up with who I haven’t seen in ages. Currently (i.e. right now) we’re learning about numbers in Computing ¬_¬, more converting from denary to binary >_>. New ep of Noein out yesterday, got it this morning ^^ so I’ll have something to do when I get home. Not to mention the usual hours of Oblivion o_o. You even get a horsey to ride XD, and there’s quite a lot to do etc. Ah… well *stops rambling* -_-

Long time . . .

Not much has happened since the last post. Started to watch Gundam Zeta, the main character being a bratty boy who goes by the name "Kamille". Drawings ... are old very old, and they show too =(, but its watchable, so I'm not too fussed. I also get to see all the Gundams that I have in Gashapon wars, but this time in the anime that they're in ^_^.

Had one concert so far, it went well ish.. i think? One more left to go... on Thursday. Just had my cello lesson, which was really good. Learnt more reasons why my playing is so badly out of tune XD. . . Hopefully. . . just maybe, this Easter I'll be able to play that movement of the uber-hard music I have =|.

I've been playing both Lumines and Meteos recently. Both such good games ^_^, I think I'm just starting to understand Lumines . . .

Coursework deadline this Friday =|. Must finish my program, luckily I only have printing and other small things to do. Oh yeah and the help section o_o. Well back to programmin'

Past week or so . . .

Been a long time since I updated ^^;; Not much as happened anyhow. Past week hasn't be all that constructive. Dorejd is back in our Physics class, and I think lessons have slightly changed because of that =|. Ah wells. Managed to watch the whole of Gundam Wing in a week XD. I think the first half is a bit rocky, especially the story, but after that its all good ^_^. Ended up watching episodes 30-49 last night XD. Nice battles in the series, but I think Gundam SEED is better still.

Computing coursework is due in soon =| The only coursework I'll ever have to do in my whole A Level! But currently I just cannot be bothered to do it =\. I'm still waiting for Zeta Gundam to come so I can watch that ^_^. Just got rejected by MIT. XD, a nice standard rejection letter too ^_^. I really have to do all my UCAS stuff, I think I'll do all the UCAS stuffs this week.

Have a few concerts coming up too =\. This thursday there's the senior strings one. I have a minor solo in it XD, well cello section solo. . . hopefully it goes well. I hope that the cello section read dynamics and all that jazz. . . last thing I need is to hear them blasting it out when it says pp ¬_¬. Such a relief that we're not playing one of the movements too ^_^, had no chance in playing that right XD. Youth Orchestra... was youth orchestra. I don't see how all the pieces we're playing at the moment will be done in one more rehearsal. Well... not exactly my problem ^_^ I hope ¬_¬. Today we got to the end of some piece, Dvorak I think . . . and we'd never played the section before XD. . . and that's how it is with most of the pieces we have o_o.

Gashapon Wars!

More Gashapon Wars =D. Saturday, was academy - the usual, except this time the cello section was really big o_o. 11 people?! I managed to do a lot of further maths on saturday ^_^, nearly kind of understand half of it now. Complex numbers and series still proving to be trouble some -_-; Sunday was full of programming, I did a lot of code, but it was still only about half a form =\. My project is getting longer and harder to complete >_<;

Today we had lunch in Physics again XD. Lunch lesson for Further Maths was as usual, and same with Computing. Better practice my cello for lesson eep >_>
